What is your expertise?

As a masseur, I have been successfully fighting against complaints from my patients and clients for almost 17 years. Starting with my work in clinics and rehabilitation centers, I had the opportunity to acquire in-depth knowledge in the areas of therapeutic massage early on.

Looking for a new challenge, I had the opportunity to work in spas and wellness oases in renowned 5-star hotels later in my professional career. This opened up new opportunities for me and I quickly realized what beneficial added value a deeply relaxing and at the same time medical massage offers my patients.

I will show you ways and options in which your complaints can be cured efficiently and that medicine and well-being are often close together.

What is your philosophy?

I started sports and wellness at a very young age and realized how important they are for the body and soul. Massage is part of holistic health. I continually expanded my knowledge of massage traditions and techniques from the Eastern and Western worlds. For me, massage is an art and not just a job but a calling.

We should learn respect for each other from Asians. I think we’ve lost some of that. Asians always behave for the good of their fellow human beings. I like Buddhist culture. Even as a child, I read a lot of books about Tibet and Asian culture. The peculiarities of this culture have always fascinated me, especially the pride and strength that Asians carry, as well as the mentality and outlook on life.

My recipe for success is simply that I enjoy doing it and people sense that. It’s my passion, I massage with my heart. I certainly know what I have to do technically, but I also work a lot with my thoughts and give my customers a lot of information.

Of course, I can’t solve my clients’ psychological problems, but I can help them feel comfortable. The customers are in a protected room in the massage practice because, like a doctor, I am sworn to confidentiality. You can deposit your problems with me, forget them or talk about them while I address the external tensions. The relaxation that the massage causes helps to calm the mind.

Trigger point therapy

Acute or chronic overload causes zones to form in our muscle fibers that undergo pathological changes. Muscle dysfunction and muscle hardening occur.

These cause pain that can radiate to other, sometimes distant, areas of the body. So-called myofascial trigger points are responsible for this.

Trigger point therapy can eliminate these pathological changes in our muscles.

Application areas:

  • Reduction/elimination of myofascial pain

  • Restoration of the physiological function of muscles and connective tissue

  • Improving blood and lymphatic drainage

  • Improvement of posture and movement patterns

  • Positive effect on the patient’s psyche, especially on unconscious emotional processes that have led to increased muscle tension

  • Reflective influence on internal organs

Classic massage

The art of touch, as massage is also called, is one of the forms of treatment that gives people strength and vitality.

The classic massage uses various grip techniques (stroking, kneading, vibrating, etc.) to influence the muscles and superficial tissue layers.

The result:

  • Improved blood circulation
  • Stimulating metabolism
  • Loosening, stretching and relaxation of the muscles

The resulting improved oxygen supply to the muscles and the removal of metabolic products (which harden the muscle) results in pain relief in the tissue.

For athletes, it is a useful preparation and/or follow-up before or after sporting activities.

In the case of one-sided stress caused by work and/or posture, classic massage can be used as a prophylactic measure.

Field of use:

  • Diseases of the musculoskeletal system that require relaxation of the muscles
  • painful tensions
  • one-sided stress at work
  • Post-treatment of muscle injuries
Sports massage

Sports massage is a complement to classic massage. Grips from Swedish massage (classic) as well as additional grips are used.

Cramps that arise during sport can be relieved with the help of stretching movements, which are part of sports massage.

It is used to relieve tension, but is also suitable for preparing for training and competition. Sports massages make the pain of muscle overuse disappear, injuries heal faster and increase well-being.

This form of massage takes into account muscle groups that are heavily stressed during sports activities and various soothing, relaxing massage techniques are used. Sports massages are not only suitable for athletes, but also for people at work or in everyday life.

The result:

  • Fitness for the muscles
  • Relaxation of overstretched and cramped muscles
  • Stimulating under-stressed muscles and tissue
  • Stimulating blood circulation
  • Improving oxygen supply
Foot reflexology massage

The FRZM works with people’s self-healing powers and thus achieves a natural change in the mood of all disturbed life functions.

Foot reflexology (FRZM) or reflexology on the foot is a natural healing procedure based on the fact that certain areas or points of the foot have solid connections (“reflex pathways”) with other, sometimes distant areas of the body, but above all with internal organs.

Application areas:

  • Pain in the spine, joints and muscles
  • Diseases of the digestive organs, urinary tract, respiratory organs and skin
  • Headache migraine
  • As an accompaniment to dental renovations and toothache
  • Allergies
  • Lack of vitality, restlessness, sleep disorders
  • During pregnancy and after birth for mother and child
  • For surgical preparation and aftercare
  • As a companion in all difficult and painful life situations
  • As a feel-good treatment and for prevention and care of health
  • The focus here is not just on the symptoms.
  • The holistic approach also takes into account the background on which they were created.
  • The FRZM works with people’s self-healing powers and thus achieves a natural change in the mood of all disturbed life fun
Manual lymph drainage

Lymphatic drainage is a decongestant technique that promotes the drainage of lymphatic fluid through gentle touches on the skin.

First, the central lymph nodes are stimulated with gentle circles, then the therapist works his way through the lymphatic vessels into the affected area.

Through the therapy you achieve faster, continuous swelling in the affected region, a reduction in pain and improved mobility.

To maintain the treatment result, bandaging or compression stockings are recommended after treatment.

Application areas:

  • Edema after breast surgery and serious accidents
  • Strains
  • Sprains
  • Sudeck’s disease
  • Post-operative treatment
  • Chronic venous insufficiency
  • Whiplash
  • Headache
  • Migraine
Thai yoga massage

Thai yoga massage is a therapeutic treatment performed on a mat on the floor in comfortable clothing. The energy line system of the 10 Sen, through which the body’s natural life energy flows, is supported.

Through so-called palming and pressing along these energy lines as well as passive stretching, the fascia tissue is stimulated and adhesions or knots are released.

Blockages, physical and emotional imbalances, discomfort and pain are eliminated with this support, balance is restored and the potential of the body’s self-healing powers is released.

In contrast to traditional Thai massage, Thai yoga massage uses a more gentle form of pressing, where the aim is to “sink into” the body but not against its resistance. Therefore, this type of massage is experienced as very relaxing and the person being treated can completely let go.

How does Thai yoga massage work?:

Thai yoga massage helps with complaints such as back and neck pain, headaches, various muscle pains, fatigue, restlessness and stress.

The treatment increases the body’s mobility and flexibility, helps to overcome poor posture, releases energy and opens a space of oneness with heart, body and soul.

Especially when people are faced with physical and emotional stress, use another form of therapy to deal with problems or have difficulty relaxing deeply, Thai yoga massage can create a safe and secure space to overcome these blockages.

For long-term benefits, it is recommended to carry out the massage treatment at regular intervals. This helps to give the body and yourself enough rest and time for lasting change.

Spinal therapy

Dorn therapy is a gentle, manual vertebral and joint therapy that is used to treat acute and chronic pain of the musculoskeletal system as well as complaints of an organic nature.

With the Dorn method (according to Dieter Dorn), all joints (foot, knee joints and the pelvis) and vertebrae of the spine (from the rump to the uppermost cervical vertebra) are checked and brought back into the correct position by pressing on the spinous and transverse processes . By straightening the vertebrae, blockages are released and the joints become free and more mobile again. In addition to working on the vertebrae and joints, the meridians from TCM are also included in the treatment in order to resolve energetic and organic blockages. Pain and other complaints can usually be significantly reduced after just one treatment.

An important part of the therapy is the self-exercises, which can be easily incorporated into everyday life at home or on the go.
