As a Physiotherapist with 30 years of experience, with an understanding of both Eastern and Western approaches to Medicine, I have developed “The Scott System” of assessment and treatment. This draws together elements from Physiotherapy, Postural and Ergonomic Assessment, Bio-mechanical, Breathing and Movement Analysis; and integrates these with the concepts of Pilates, Alexander Technique, Yoga and Acupuncture, to offer a unique Physiotherapy approach.

Biomechanical Assessments

As a thorough physiotherapist I specialize in biomechanics. Assessing general and activity-specific biomechanics to address issues arising from genetics, habits, or injuries, preventing compensations and pain. An untreated ankle sprain can impact posture, leading to issues like neck pain later. My holistic approach corrects malalignments, treating current problems and preventing future ones. The package includes a one-hour assessment with personalized recommendations, exercises, and a follow-up two weeks later; treatment is separate if needed.

Ergonomic Assessments

As a certified Display Screen Ergonomics Assessor and member of ACPOHE, I can visit your workplace to assess and optimize your workstation, reducing issues like headaches and back strain associated with poor posture. This service is crucial for those working from home, and despite limited options, cost-effective measures can help prevent occupational stress. Measurements are taken to customize your working position and equipment.
